You Changed Her
A Poetic Note to the one who never was
The girl who was too afraid to take risks, is now reckless -
She does things that are out of character for her,
That scare her to death,
That aren’t always the wisest way to go about,
But which help her grow -
No matter whether good or bad
You changed her forever.
Adding a little quintessence of your own
to the enchanting mix of stardust that she already was,
You changed her essence.
You crossed her path and disturbed her monotonous equilibrium,
Made all her thoughts and decisions fly haywire in her mind.
Now, she is constantly driven for more.
She wants more.
She needs more.
She cannot settle for any less, anymore
Like a ball with a certain mass and velocity,
You hit her hard and imparted such a momentum to this girl,
It terrifies you-
She’s turned into a bullet.
A sarcastic drawl, a condescending sneer -
'How are you coping with your loss of momentum then, my shitty li’l dear?'
